Auto Repair for Everyone!

The environment was super welcoming and the employees were all kind. Most other repair shops I’ve been to have people who tend to be gruff or condescending towards women staffing the front desk, but I did not feel that way at Turbo Tim’s. I also really appreciated the consistent text-based updates on the repairs I needed! I had this exact same issue on a car I used to own at almost the exact same mileage, and it was slightly more expensive (around 12% higher) here than at the place I got the repair done at in 2024. However, with inflation/everything being more expensive than it was 2 years ago, I think the price was entirely fair. But even if inflation wasn’t a thing, this was a far more communicative and positive experience than I had at the other place.

My daughter has used Turbo Tim’s northeast location for her car repairs in the past. I reminded her to get an oil change and she made an appt at the Mounds view location. We dropped the car off and when returning to pick it up from a simple oil change, they charged an electric shocking $110 and that’s with the bumper sticker 10% off! I am just disgusted. My daughter’s 2010 compact car cost double at Turbo Tim’s for what I payed for my large SUV!!!! She trusted this place, I did not and tried to persuade her to my reliable and honest shop. Shaking my head at how absurd it is to charge that much for an oil change. Taking the bumper sticker off and life lesson learned….. never returning. Shame on you Turbo Tim’s.

Always love working with Turbo Tim’s! They are inclusive, thoughtful, and always provide excellent service! I had an accurate estimate and received photos of everything that needed work. It was easy to select what I wanted, and I didn’t feel judged for not fixing everything right away. They also always treat people with respect, even if you don’t know cars.

made the mistake of thinking they could be trusted because theyre cat people… lol same shady business practices as most mechanics… overpriced, hidden fees, bogus fees they can’t explain but refuse to remove… so disappointing

The problem I had needed extensive diagnostics. Each level of diagnostics costs a pretty penny. While it was steep, we spent close to $1k on this, it was incredibly thorough. I really liked the online page that lists all issues including the mechanic making videos showing exactly what the issue is. While it was expensive, I really felt the value matched the price spent. I do plan to return to Turbo Tim’s because I feel confident that the mechanics are trustworthy and I’m not being misled over not being knowledgeable about cars. Which has happened to me before.

Turbo Tim's service was amazing. Not only did they fix the air conditioning on my aging car quickly but they bent over backwards to help get me to and from the shop using Lyft. I'm not a techy person and instead of making it a "me" issue, they treated me with respect meeting me both literally and figuratively where I was so that I could get the service I needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great experience! Easy to book an appointment, really nice shop, everyone is kind and they explained everything really well. They are honest and do great work, and their communication is top notch. Highly recommend!

I was a customer of the previous repair shop for 15 years and was concerned that turbo would no longer be my hometown repair shop. Well I'm here to say that I've never been happier with the service at TT's. Everyone that works on my vehicle gives me solid advice when needed and my truck has never felt better, she gets quality attention from the mechanics as well. They truly are my hometown go to. I LOVE turbo tims!!! I have been several times over several years and have only ever been treated well. They send a breakdown of all the work you need done and to what level it is needed on a scale from green to red. This also includes info on how much each specific fix will be and photos of each part of the car. I like this because then I can just send the link to my dad or google the info and never feel pressured to have an immediate answer on the phone or in person! Also turbo tims has cats and a fish tank which isn’t relevant to their work but is a fun perk:)

Too expensive wanted around 240 per hour for labor, went to another shop did it for half the price.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, the process was transparent, and the work on my car was completed quickly. I will recommend this shop to everyone I know!

Everyone here is extremely thoughtful and thorough! I brought my car in for an oil change and had a last-minute concern the day before my appointment; not only did they accommodate me, but they gave me options and didn’t put any pressure on me to spend more than I was able to. They essentially ended up providing me with a maintenance plan over the next few visits so I can budget for what’s coming up. As far as pricing goes, everything is expensive right now so I really don’t think their prices are any higher than other places with all things considered.
