Humanitarian Work at Turbo Tim's
Supporting the Community that Supports Us
Here at Turbo Tim’s, we believe we should be the change we want to see in the Twin Cities and the world. That philosophy begins with the way we run our shop, but it doesn’t end there. Our whole team goes the extra mile to make our community a better place to live. Whether we’re out cleaning our adopted highway, hosting community events, or just stocking up our Little Free Library, we feel good knowing that we can impact everyone around us, not just people with vehicles!
The Lift Garage Partnership
We’re extremely proud to partner with and support the incredible local non-profit, the Lift Garage. The Lift Garage is a 501c3 nonprofit aimed to move people out of poverty and homelessness by providing low-cost car repair, free pre-purchase car inspections, and honest advice that supports our community on the road to more secure lives.
Our team at Turbo Tim’s is happy to work in tandem with the Lift Garage, directly expanding their capacity by providing services within our own shops. In addition to this partnership and financial support, Turbo Tim Suggs is even a Lift Garage Board Member! We love everything the Lift Garage and its inspirational founder Cathy Heying stand for and we’re all-in!

Highway 280 Cleanups
Turbo Tim’s adopted a section of Highway 280 all the way back in 2012. For more than ten years, the Turbo Tim’s crew has been gearing up and braving the elements and trucks whooshing by twice a year to keep the space clean. After all the wild trash has been bagged, the gang usually heads out for a big lunch and something fun like go-karting! Wee!
